JH Furniture Restoration was responsible for finishing this newly milled antique Wormed Oak wood kitchen island and bathroom vanities. Extensive challenges were encountered during the finishing process where specialized waterproof filler was required.  Subsequently, artificial graining and faux finishing techniques were employed to blend in the filler with the natural wood.  Then the wood surfaces were sealed with multiple coats of a pre-catalyzed flat lacquer, each hand sanded and rubbed between coats.
