Chair Repair

This chair is one of a set of twelve that was severely damaged and repaired before. Subsequently the repair failed and both back posts broke.  The decoritive brass nail heads were removed allowing access to the breakage.  A two part epoxy with the strength of 2000 lbs per square inch was used to fill the gap within the breakage.  The repair was colored, faux grained and sealed with matching lacquer.
